An Evening of Laughter, Community, and Italian Spirit

Join us for another unforgettable evening of Italian Cinema at NIAF—where great films meet great company.

The film follows Fulvio, a successful advertising executive whose comfortable life suddenly falls apart when he loses his job and finds himself in serious trouble after an angry outburst. As part of his punishment, he is sent back to his small hometown in southern Italy, where he must perform community service under the supervision of his brother, a priest.

Returning home is not exactly what Fulvio had in mind. The town is struggling economically, the local church needs help, and the community has lost some of its hope. But when an unusual event at the church is mistaken for a miracle, Fulvio quickly sees an opportunity. Using his advertising and marketing skills, he begins promoting the “miracle” in hopes of attracting visitors, bringing money into the town, and helping the people around him.

What begins as a clever plan soon grows into something much bigger than Fulvio expected. As tourists arrive and excitement spreads, he must deal with the consequences of his actions while also reconnecting with his family, his hometown, and the values he had left behind.

Si Accettano Miracoli is a charming comedy about second chances, family, faith, friendship, and rediscovering what truly matters in life. Filled with amusing situations, colorful characters, and the beauty and warmth of southern Italy, the film delivers plenty of laughs while also offering a heartfelt message about community and hope.

But as always, the evening is about more than the film.

It’s about gathering together sharing a meal, enjoying a glass of wine, and connecting with friends, both old and new, in a setting that feels like home.
