Special Olympics

A major recipient of the Foundation’s giving is Special Olympics of Collier County.  Every year for more than 20 years, the Foundation has hosted the Olympic Athletes on our Bocce courts for weekly play.  Members help coach the athletes, and every year the Foundation holds a banquet for athletes and their families.  Donations are made to Special Olympics annually.

Scholarship

The NIAF has long DREAMED of supporting our community in a major way.  Many local high school students DREAM of pursuing further education but need an assist as they begin their journey. Both DREAMS now intersect the NIAF SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.

In 2024, six deserving students were awarded the inaugural NIAF Scholarship.  We are assisting four academic scholars taking that first step to college and two Special Olympians furthering their life skill preparation.

First Responders

Over three days each June, we salute Greater Naples Fire, Police, and other First Responders with an appreciation breakfast.  It is one of the ways in which the Foundation contributes to the welfare of the Greater Naples community and provides support to important community services.
